Paperback Writer singleI haven't run across but one copy of the original PW single, so I don't know if mine's a fluke. However, on each refrain in the song it seems the vocals were run thru something to get a tremolo effect. I have never heard this on any other version of PW. Has anyone else experienced this??
The longer version of "I'll Cry Instead" is only on the U.S. mono versionI have the mono version of "A Hard Day's Night" from Parlophone and The Capital Album "Something New" in stereo and mono. It is only the mono version of "I'll Cry Instead" from "Something New" that has the extra verse. The mono version of "I'll Cry Instead" on "A Hard Day's Night" doesn't have the extra verse.
