You say that the girl who is the subject of the song is "underage" at 17. In a sexual context in the UK, then and now, this isn't the case. The age of consent in Britain is and was 16. Sorry if it seems like I'm picking on a minor point on a brilliantly informative site, but given the hysteria any suggestion of underage sex can generate it's as well to be accurate, and fair.
