Some positive attention is paid here to Paul's bass on this song, but the more I listen to it, I believe it is his finest work on the instrument through the Beatles' repertoire. It both drives and rides the song, with the clever walk down before "so fine" and some elaborate "hooks" in some verses. Powerful, playful, it makes the song!
