Emo is a music genre. It is usually reatled to emotional lyrics in music that tends to be called screamo. It is a popular and quick growing genre. It is also partially a fashion that is considered to be people with black hair that covers one eye and that may have hilights with bright colors like bleached blond, red, pink, yellow, green, blue, etc.. Emo boys tend to have longer hair with spikes in the back and girls have major layers up high giving a short hair look with a thinner long straight layer. Some emo girls have longer or shorter hair, but there are many ways to wear that kind of hair and to have it styled in a way to be considered emo. Most emo kids now-a-days tend to wear a lot of eyeliner in solid black lines (boys and girls) and the girls ocasionally wear bright shades of eyeliner (usually pigment) they also wear studded belts, thick glasses, usually square-rimmed, but not always, skinny jeans, classic vans slip-ons (usually checkered), band tees, some have tatoos, jackets with skeletons, wrist bands, classic chuck taylor converse (usually in solid colors but any style, including hi-tops, low cuts, etc.) etc.. Emos enjoy to take black and white photos and tend to be very creative and love art. Many emo kids can say that their iPod is "a 5th limb" and totally attached to them because they love it. Many emos are accused of being whiny, emotional, self centered, poem writing, sad song writing, tight pant wearing, losers. They are also accused of self-mutilation, aka cutting themselves. But the reality is that most emo kids are fun people if you get to know them, quiet and shy, and DO NOT CUT. Another type of people, alot like emos, are goths and scene kids. Scene kids dress the same but are usually more fun loving and more lively. Goths wear more victorian styled clothing including chockers and all black. Some people just don't understand these kinds of people but that's because they just don't know about them. When your educated, you tend to get them better.PLEASE VOTE BEST ANSWER I SPENT ALOT OF TIME AND MOST OF MY KNOWLEDGE ON THIS SUBJECT ON THIS QUESTION!!! I WORKED VERY HARD!!

Well I have to say my favorite mmonet in Feb, would be the fact that i can now craft for a longer period(2-4 hours) of time after having 2 ankle surgeries, and being laid up in bed for over 4 months with an open wound . Where as before i would last for about 5 mins at a time, due to having to keep my ankle and wound up 24/7! Looks like things are getting much better, now just waiting for the day i can walk , and go back into my AWESOME craft room that ive missed out on using since OCT 7th 2011, i currently am crafting in my daughters room that is right next to my room ..hehehehehee at least im crafting Thank you and have a wonderful day!!Hugs to all,Cheryl W

ok here is the real truth. It’s nothing but a label used to classify someone. There are however different meanings for the term emo. It started as a genre of music in the 1980′s but later became a style as well. It refers to someone with hair long in the front of there face but it doesn’t have to be in the back. (most of the time black) Skinny jeans are also popular and band shirts. You may hear that we are people who cut ourselves or are always depressed which is nothing but a stereotype because I have never cut and I am happy with my life and the way I am now is just who I fell I am. Like everyone else.
I can’t promise I’ll make green eggs and ham since no one in my home likes them and I’m allergic to eggs. Therefore, I started paper crafting a few years ago thanks to my best friend Julie. I used to make fun of her and her scrapbook addiction by stating she had WAY too much time on her hands. One sleepover later I found my self standing in the scrapbook isle of Hobby Lobby putting one of everything in my cart!

Emo stands for emotional. The stereotype of an emo usually includes a person that self-mutilates themselves such as cutting, but to be emo does not necessarily mean that they must inflict harm upon themselves. For many it is just a style or type of music that they listen to. The style is includes skinny jeans and the hair and glasses you described. Emo music would include bands such as My Chemical Romance.

No green eggs and ham for me! As for how I got into papercrafting – my mom was a scrapbooker – she saved everything and stuck it in photo albums, and I inherited the trait and began keeping books of my own. As scrapbooking took off in the late 1990s, a friend invited me to a home party where I got hooked. From there I started stamping and making cards, too!

I can’t make any promises to make green eggs…our little leprechaun typically colors the milk for Lucky Charms instead. Green eggs and ham are eaten on Dr. Seuss’s birthday. I have always been crafty, but the addiction really hit when I went to a Stampin’ Up! party about 8 years ago. It’s been all downhill from there!

When my kids were little, they loved it when I made green egg noodles for them to go with their corned beef. I would add a couple of drops of green food coloring to the water. My paper crafting obsession started when I attended a small SU party 15 years ago and has grown exponentially!
