Hi Grin, i got some mixed questions about scaecs-list (a question with an scaecs list that seems to deny traffic to internet for a specific LAN host, but since after this entry there wasn't the permit ip any any at the end none of the LAN hosts can scaecs), vlsm (assing subnet of a classfull network to ip router interfaces) spantree (who is the root bridge),vtp(effects of a new switch configured as vtp server added on an existing group of switching, ospf (many questions show route table and ask which value is the admin distance and wich value is the cost, eigrp (route chosen for a destination) and Frame relay. no quiestions on ppp, ipv6 and vpn. in any case the new questions were similar to the pass4sure provided here.there was an OSPF lab with 3 routers, in the third, there was an error on the area assigned to the network (1 instead of 0). then a lab on vtp and frame forwarding (like: who is the vtp server (look for last vtp update and use cdp to find the source), where a frame with a known source mac and a new mac address will be floded (interfaces in the same vlan and trunks) ecc..

I have a lot of health problems (mainly chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic pain, and arthritis) and the weather changes we’ve been having just mess me up and throw me into bed!! So, when I do have some limited energy (a couple of hours is my limit) I have to choose between doing those necessary errands like grocery shopping or getting involved in something I really want to do! I just bought a small freezer, and have been filling it with microwavable stuff (can’t remember the last time I actually cooked something), so if I get far enough ahead I won’t have to worry as much about that, except for basics like milk, etc. And today, must stock up on kitty food or my cat is likely to move out and move in with someone else!! I do get a lot of reading done when I’m flat (and not sleeping), so most of my quilting has been vicarious. I have lots of things planned–I have a tote on my bed with my graph paper, colored pencils, rulers, and all kinds of junk, so do have quite a few designed, as well as the ones I love from the mags and books.

Juggle seems an appropriate term. My younger son graduates nest weekend from high school. I made 13 pounds of Italian beef and batches for 4 kinds of cookies. Yesterday I woke to water in the basement since the sump pump decided it had seen better days (well, it was 26 years old after all!)… so sorting and pitching wet stuff and changing out the sump pump for a newer model took priority. The same day as graduation is confirmation at church so I (in sore need ot some fabric fondling time) made a zippered cover for the new Bible I am giving to the young lady I am mentoring. I am invited to a wedding shower tomorrow afternoon and I need to find a gift first. I still need to clean the main floor of the house and actually bake those cookies. I reallllllly want to be making feathered star blocks to help me relax!

Oh my! I love a good organization project Betsy and this one is pure bliss! I love that awesome find you found at the dollar store. I think I will be making a trip there for those very soon as I bet they hold the 6×6 pads perfectly too! Your cards are beautiful and that strip idea is a winner! I have trouble parting with mine too. My latest project was to print out all my sketches that I had saved to my computer from the various sites (for both cards and scrapbook layouts) in 9 wallets to a sheet, cut them down and organize them by number of photos (in the case of layouts) or oreintation/size, etc. and then past them front and back to 4×6 notecards which I color coded to match the different dividers. I can fit at least 4 idea per card and I can find exactly the inspiration I’m looking for in a flash. For my layout sketches I even took it a step further and organized my 3 photo layouts so that all the 3 horizontals or the 3 verticals or the 2 horiz/1vert, etc. are together. It speeds up my creative process tremendously and is a great organizational project to take with you to work on at kids activities and such. Plus 4×6 notecards fit perfectly in a cheap photo box!

I am in the middle of decision making. We have lived here for 36 yrs. and time for new roofing (just got done) siding and windows. Want to make sure we get good windows, because don’t want to have to do it again; but don’t want to go over our budget either. A new quilt magazine would be great to relax with after all the shopping around.

Love your idea! Especially using the strips to make some new paper. LOVE it!!I have really been trying to organize this summer also. Two storage tips that I have, really passing on someone else’s idea that I read somewhere. First, I bought some CD/DVD boxes from Walmart in the office supplies section, they come in several different colors. I place my embossing folders in the boxes after writing the name of the embossing design on the folder in black sharpie. Nice and neat! Next, I have been trying to find a practical storage idea for my nestabilities that do not take up a lot of room. I found some plastic folders (also at Walmart) that are bound pocket pages with an extra pocket with a closure on the front of each pocket that is perfect to store the regular sized nestabilities that I have, lined up on magnets and just slip in the pocket and close it. The folder also has an elastic closure to keep it shut.

I was standing on the patio with about ten other people (at least half of them witnessed the event), when what I initially thought was a “shooting star” suddenly speeding from the right side of the sky to the left. This object left a huge bright green and red trail in its wake as it arced so far that it DISAPPEARED behind a building on my far left, without showing signs of fading (more than 5 seconds). I initially believed it to be a wayward pyrotechnic device but discarded the idea because the object was obviously extra-terrestrial (meteor?)

The almost casual grace some of the characters seem to have is amazing, and how you translate each personality through their body language is just astounding.Thankyou so much for producing this wonderful work of art, and I will always check back for updates until the day it reaches it end. artist. Invariably someone will make a declaration of the person’s demise, whether or not that is the case…There are about a dozen comics in my “Following” list which have not updated in many moons. One of them even said “See you next year!” back in August (and has not yet resumed updates…) A few of them, though, have lost their sites (there are Registrar placeholder sites currently showing)… and a couple of let their domain registrations lapse. While I do tend to worry any time an artist misses their expected next posting date by more than a week, and have occasionally contacted an artist with an “Are you okay?” e-mail, it’s the ones that languish long enough to vanish that actually leave me truly wondering if the person has met an untimely end.(Of course, then there are the ones that are deliberately taken down by the creators. A falling out with a host, for example, or a “I’m starting over, and I’m wiping out the old version so that only the new version is there.”, or in one case, a “I got a publishing deal, but I have to take the comic offline or they’ll back out.”)

Or maybe they do and just don’t care and think that you’re doing them a service instead of just wanting to share a story with them on your own free time. Keyword being “free time”.I am amazed at the amount of sheer entitlement people have in this day and age. Not just for webcomics but for just about any form of entertainment media. I’m sick of hearing people demanding that things go their way at the expense of what the creator intended just because they didn’t like it. Seriously, those type of people need a life, preferably one away from the keyboard. Having a whole book in front of you is one thing — but having a good book produced and made available on a faithful schedule is something really special. It seems that even the best can’t keep this up for very long, not while maintaining quality, [cf. life, etc.] but you did for quite awhile, and I really appreciated that.Since you mentioned it, though, why is strong moderation “censorship?” You wouldn’t be denying folks the right to express their views, just the ability to do so right here in the comment thread that you pay to maintain. If you want to scrub your readers’ fouler effluvia, isn’t that up to you?

don’t worry about upload schedule. after all, your health is what is most important. if you died before the comic was finished, their would be many spin offs. you would be greived as much as great lets players like chuggaconroy or nintendocaprisun. and the spin offs would never do the original justice. don’t push yourself. focus on getting better, not on hurrying to get the next page in. after all, if we can handle the upload schedule of boxer hockey, then we can handle this. not every web comic can upload twice a week, like cucumber’s quest.if you do the best you can, then you are doing the best possible. fear not what others think of you, and let your wings soar. (i have no idea if that is from something or not, but i just thought of it on the spur of the moment)

This might sound odd, but do you have a specified coivnnteon for what you do with a speech bubble when it intersects with the edge of a panel, or does it vary on a case by case basis? I've noticed your usual M.O. seems to be to just erase the line where the border would normally be, which I think looks really neat and clean, but I've been noticing lately (now that I've started looking for it) that it oscillates sometimes. Do you do this intentionally to help communicate specific ideas, like how cramped and annoyed Pinter is as a result of Angora's bombardment of questions at the top of 4.03, or just because sometimes it looks better and sometimes it doesn't?You don't seem like the type of person to do anything by accident, no matter how minor, so I was just curious.

Seriously, don’t sweat them. Real life gets in the way and all you can do is compromise it with what you want and what you need to do. Some people don’t seem to understand that. All in all I’m glad you’re doing better and that you got job and I just hope you’ll be able to continue to share your story with us, rather the updates be late or on time. :)

I downloaded your plugin and to my surprise, it is not styled by default as shown in your example. It would have been nice if you mentioned this in the description. Now I will have to spend unplanned time styling. This does not save me money.
