I love your website and I agree with your closing comment on this particular song. Let's give credit to not only the complexity of this charming composition, but also to the unique quality of John's voice on this song. I can't get enough of his "cracking" vocals on this one.

Nonetheless, the point to be made here on this song is the quality of the vocals at such an early stage of their involvement with EMI, with particular attention to John's fantastic vocal sound...due to cold symptoms? I love Paul's basslines but this song is not exemplary of anything noteworthy or dynamic from a bass perspective. Love this website!
