Hello: We are planning on purchasing a summer home in Destin. And, possibly making it our permanent home… Our children are in college and we have a Junior in high school. We have done extensive research on Destin, but have not been there yet. Of course, we plan to visit BEFORE we go under contract! Anyone there who is a transplant from the North East or else where? Is Destin just good for vacations or is year round appealing as well. Please share your thoughts and experience.
