- I actually think its a little of both: savvy and sleazy. I mean, for them to put both ‘products’ together and think, ‘This is a match made in heaven’, is just another savvy way of advertising. They saw an opportunity and went for it. Sure, small pat on the back for the idea. I can’t say I’m going to run out and buy it. But, I can definitely see young adults seeing it on the shelves when they pop into the grocery store to get a few things to bring to a party. They are more likely to buy it, even for comical purposes, and bring it with them to show their friends. But, that doesn’t mean that I actually agree with this as an ethical and/or moral combination. I still haven’t ‘followed’ Sheen on Twitter yet. I can’t bring myself to do it. Its like the same thing as Brittany Spears, people just love to watch a train wreck. Somehow, I feel as an enabler if I ‘followed’ him.In my opinion, here are two differences with the viewers : 1) You are watching with an empathetic heart, admitting he is sometimes comical, but left questioning who is going to really help him?2) Then there are the others that are watching as they stuff more popcorn in their mouths, sip that cold Coca Cola, and are just anticipating the next free fall drop to see how hard he will splat this time.No matter how intentional he is doing it, he is definitely developing himself as a brand. After all, he is a #Winner.
