| re: re: EnergyI save my scraps to punch small shapes from – butterflies, flowers, circles, snowflakes, whatever. That way they coordinate with the paper I’m using & are much cheaper than buying the accents that are available with the pp. I also try to incorporate the negative shapes leftover from die cutting. A lot of my scraps are used on my cards & mini albums. Thanks for the chance to win.

| paulbassfan1I love your website and I agree with your closing comment on this particular song. Let's give credit to not only the complexity of this charming composition, but also to the unique quality of John's voice on this song. I can't get enough of his "cracking" vocals on this one.

| re:: Every Little ThingWell, i hear Paul on the main verse, in particular, on the last words of every line " about her now", " a love that will never die". I think the problem is you dont want to hear him. "It's easy to understand how, if John mistakenly gave Paul credit for the song in 1980, that Paul would have adopted it as his own in 1992." Well, i think your comment shows, you like Lennon so much, that you want desperately to believe that theory. If both lennon and mccartney said that is Paul´s composition, you dont think that the more probable is McCartney wrote the song?.

| re: re: ArseniyCuil is a good example of how not to launch a website. All that money spent on PR has been wasted (unless of course its a black marketing campaing from Google in which case, money well spent.). If they want to get those kind of hits again, they will have to spend even more money on PR the next time to convince people that it’s not as rubbish as it used to be.Statcounter helped me learn the same lesson with my own website. I launched it before it was ready, got loads of hits, but the visitors were dissapointed that it wasn’t fully ready and never came back in full numbers.

| Best song, great details.Hello,
I would just like to say thank you for compiling this excellent wealth of information on "Run For Your Life", one of my personal favorite Beatles tunes. My folk-rock group, The Oakenblues, are doing a 14 song Beatles cover album and I chose this song to record - this website has proved an indispensable resource in the making of our recording. THANK YOU!
Sincerely,
Matthew

| re: MrI agree with Mr. Gates above. I'm compiling a Beatles instrument spreadsheet and this song is a dilemma for me. Your logic makes sense up to Mr. Gates' point above. George would've had to play Paul's 1962 Hofner 500/1 bass upside-down. I play guitar/bass and I know it's possible, but is that really what they did for this song??
I love the detail in your website by the way. Very well done.

| re: paulbassfan1The comment above was made by me and I inadverdently put an alias as a title. Nonetheless, the point to be made here on this song is the quality of the vocals at such an early stage of their involvement with EMI, with particular attention to John's fantastic vocal sound...due to cold symptoms? I love Paul's basslines but this song is not exemplary of anything noteworthy or dynamic from a bass perspective. Love this website!
