Just finished 15 log cabin squares for a quilt to send with others made by the guild to those in need. Whew!!! I will be glad when one more week is over ( if I get my blessing dress done on time).

re: HOW LONG DID IT TAKE HIM??I was standing on the patio with about ten other people (at least half of them witnessed the event), when what I initially thought was a “shooting star” suddenly speeding from the right side of the sky to the left. This object left a huge bright green and red trail in its wake as it arced so far that it DISAPPEARED behind a building on my far left, without showing signs of fading (more than 5 seconds). I initially believed it to be a wayward pyrotechnic device but discarded the idea because the object was obviously extra-terrestrial (meteor?)

I think the problem is you dont want to hear him. "It's easy to understand how, if John mistakenly gave Paul credit for the song in 1980, that Paul would have adopted it as his own in 1992." Well, i think your comment shows, you like Lennon so much, that you want desperately to believe that theory. If both lennon and mccartney said that is Paul´s composition, you dont think that the more probable is McCartney wrote the song?.

re: RainWhen you listen to the isolated right channel of the stereo mix, you can hear that it definately is John doing his own harmony here in the chorus. I was surprised too!

re: re: beatle maniacI've listened to all the versions of "Tell Me Why" and Lennon sounds live in the movie.I for sure detect a different vocal inflection from the studio version as to the word "on" in the line "if you don't I really can't go on"...

MrI think many of the songs on their first album (sorry....LP) are so very good because of their raw earthy uncomplicated mood. So redolent of the austerity of post war England that is captured so particularly well in "There's a Place"

re: re: Resemblance to...A: Wrist suppleness (have a broken wrist still too, not helping w/ HSPU)B: Double Unders, I can’t keep tying DU’s together because I end up tossing in a couple triples and then my timing gets all screwy. I can only tie about 15 together without messing up… Need more! I work on these for 10-mins every other day. Which has exposed C…C: Too right leg dominant. After double-under skill sessions my right calve gets super tight and sore and no amount of foam rolling/PVC rolling can get that baby to loosen up.
