Day TripperEven if I think is possible that the reason why paul sang lead on Day Tripper verses was because john coulnt reach the notes, my theory is that Paul wrote the melody of the verses. ¿Why? First we have to take in consideration that McCartney considered Day Tripper very much a co-written song, and only gave more credit to Lennon because “he sung the lead” ( what McCartney did´nt rememeber (or least , at the time of his many years from now book, its that he is the lead singer in the verses of the song not John ( maybe Paul later remembered it, and that´s why is he is playing the song his present gigs).

re: Every Little ThingMy comments under the heading "Song Structure and Style" about Ringo's bass drum is concerning his playing the bass drum while at his drum kit on the rhythm track. He definately does play the timpani during the chorus as an overdub as mentioned under the heading "Recording History." As to whether the song was written by John or Paul, all we have to go on is their quotes. And I agree that it is difficult to determine from listening whether Paul is singing with John in the verses or if it's just John double-tracked, credible sources suggest that it is both of them singing in unison.
She´s leaving HomeYou said: "Therefore, it appears that the bulk of the chorus - the "long sustained notes" (“sheeeee….is leaving…..”) and the answering melody lines (“we struggled hard all our lives to get by” etc.) - was written by John while all of the verses were written by Paul". I think Paul had a big hand in the chorus too, he cleary wrote the "shessss.... leaving home" part (the long sustained notes), and that inspired John to came up with the answering lines (the greek chorus, which is the countermelody).
re: ShoopiieThis might sound odd, but do you have a specified coivnnteon for what you do with a speech bubble when it intersects with the edge of a panel, or does it vary on a case by case basis? I've noticed your usual M.O. seems to be to just erase the line where the border would normally be, which I think looks really neat and clean, but I've been noticing lately (now that I've started looking for it) that it oscillates sometimes. Do you do this intentionally to help communicate specific ideas, like how cramped and annoyed Pinter is as a result of Angora's bombardment of questions at the top of 4.
